I just don’t know what to do then , do you think it’s worth trying them or just keep them as they are .

When I removed him I also have removed another , then I added another 5 new plates with the bullies one will that make a difference to put them both back in . The bullying ones seem to be calm now .

With gregarious fishes it is all about hierarchy. For now the bully ones and the new fives get to know and test each other. Unless you stay in front of your tank 24h, you won't note these 'tank jousting" but at the end there will be a new boss : whether it be the previous one or a new one.

I’ve decided now just to keep the two bully’s in a separate tank permanently . It’s a bit of a faff but best to be safe than sorry . I do only have like a nursing tank of 12 litres and that’s not big enough so ….
