Bully In The Tank

so I have a powder blue dwarf gourami who , my mistake, was the first fish introduced to my tank. He definately owns the tank and chases the other gourami around and stresses them out. He sometimes bothers my neon tetras, but he doesn't touch my killies. Can I separate him into a different tank and then re introduce him? Or will he still assert himself as top dog?

unlikely, i mean sure you can seperate the fish into a seperate tank of its own.
But, the thing is, its already made its dominance within that tank so if put back in there its likely it will start causing mayhem again.
dw your really not alone, i too have a dwarf gourami and it attacks everything in my 90 gallon planted set-up...even attacks the larger fish.
so ive had to seperate him from them...
