Bulb plants growing patterns

hello, I am wondering if aponogeton grows to be a clump, or does it spread out like Vals? do the bulbs split under water?

Not quite sure what you're asking. The apanos grow as a single plant from the bulb, they don't replicate from the bulb. They don't clone that way. They will reproduce by sending out fstalks with many flowers on them and you can try to reproduce them by spreading pollen on the flowers and then seeds will grow from the individual little flowers on the stalks.

oh thanks, I though they spread like onions having smaller bulbs grow out of big ones.
