ive notest thet i have alot of bubbles on the surface, it is a 3 way bio filter in a systemised tank with a fall of about an 1" is it just highly arogated? im fish cycling the tank at the moment and have high no2 levels but im controling that with water changes, (more on the cycling) or is it something else like amonia build up? or am i talkin bull? iif i had a camra id show you but i dont so meh

It could just be that one inch fall. Also, what is intake like on your filter? Is it fairly large? Because if a bubble travels into your impeller intact, then it gets diced up into millions of tiny bubbles. Try making the drop less than one inch mine is probably 1 cm. Either way it's not a problem that your tank has bubbles. Aside from the fact that it probably bugs the heck out of you ;)

Woah. Why, if you already have high no2 levels would you buy another fish which is only going to increase said levels? Much less an aggressive fish that grows to six inches, is a fast acitve swimmer, and prefers to be kept in groups of 3 or more? That, IMO was a bit of a poor choice. I suggest you try to take the fish back to your LFS.

this was b4 we took it back with in 30 minutes when it attacke dthe others...
and im now in the process of cycling it properly, (read the other post, link above)

'next day' after doing a water change (and nearly killing a barb from shock)
i raised the water sothat the drop is now only 1.5cm-1/2" and is now fine.
