I'm planning to get a bubble tip anemone for my clownfish.

Tank is 58 gallons, with near-perfect status. Does anyone know of some problems that could occur with these anemones? Just playing it on the safe side . . .

Do you have or plan on getting hard coral in your tank???

You shold be fine if you sig is current. The only other problem i have ever known about with BTA's is with power heads (the suction) :S

also, how old is the tank? I wouldn't advise putting one in untill it is atleast 6 months old as the water chemestry may not be stable enough.

ste :)

M tank is nearly a year old, and I'm not planning on getting any hard corals. I'm pretty sure my chemistry is as stable as it gets.

I am planning on getting soft corals, though. Will the anemone attack these, even though they don't fight back?

Not normally. The largest problem will be wondering where he will settle down and be happy.

This settling in does happen faster if the clown and it get comfortable with each other right off though.
