Hey guys, I know there are about 50 different posts on how to get rid of brown diatoms, but I have tried some of these things and still having issues. My tank is about 4 months old, I have 4 small hermits, a CC star, and about 5 snails (not including fish) inside of a 30 gallon hex tank. I have a penquin 170 biowheel and a maxi-jet powerhead for filtration and circulation. After adding the Cleanup crew, there is still brown algae on the walls of the tank. Besides scrubbing it every week, is there a way to eliminate this?? There is none on my liverock or sand.... Is there any chemicals I can buy online or from a LFS to eliminate or help slow it down even further??

TBH, I'd just invest in a really good scraper. Mag floats are phenomenal and really bust this stuff up good. And if you get the kind with the blad attachment... That really slices it up nice
