Hi Everyone , I hope you can help.

One of my bronze cory's was acting a bit strange they way it was swiming i thought it had a swim bladder issue so I put it in my quarentine tank and fed it some pea's to see if it would get better .

It's abdomin is now really swollen and it looks like it has tonsilitious coz there is also swellings just under its gills . I have never before see anything like this and dont know how to treat it or if it can be treated or if my wee fishy is completely doomed .

Size of tank in gallons or lites.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Corys are more prone to bacterial infections.
What do you feed your fish?
I would treat him if he's in issolation with a bacterial med if his gills are swollen.

Its a 200 litre tank , He is in a 70 litre tank by himself at the moment ,put him in there when I notcied something was wrong.

it's in with
2 honey gourmais
12 neon tetra
1 bristel nose catfish
1 other bronze cory
2 albino cory's
2 pepper corys

I Feed them on various thing the flake food sinking pellets cucumber lettues spinich and brine shrimp and blood worms , Not all at the same time of course , but they get all of the above

Know he's issolated you will need a bacterial med.
Good luck.
Uk anti internal bacteria med by interpet.
United states maracyn one and two.
