Anyone here keep Brichardi? My LFS got some in last month and I watch them for 20min every time I'm in. Reeallly would love to start a tank dedicated to them, but alas, my water is around 6.8-7pH and from looking they require 8-9.
Beautiful fish and if anyone has pictures to share I'd love to see them!

Gosh, I used to. Fascinating fish. If you breed them, they form a nuclear family where their fry will take care of the next batch of fry (and so on and so forth). If you let them go long enough you'll have 100s of Brichardi all different sizes peacefully swimming with one another. It's quite a sight!

If you are interested in keeping them, I would recommend adding some crushed coral (or similar) to up your pH, kH and gH so that you can keep these beauties!
