feed fish 3-5 times a day for 2-4 weeks before breeding them so they have good gametes.
do big daily water changes when feeding more often to keep tank clean.
separate males and female for 5 days before breeding them.
put fish in a 2 ft tank with a thin layer of gravel, an air operated sponge filter, heater (if required), a few floating plants, a clump or layer of java moss on the bottom. fish will usually breed that day or following day. remove adults after breeding (when female is slim and they no longer go into plants together).
wait a few days and start feeding the babies.
