Breeding Plecos, Who Wants What?

I may be starting a breeder tank soon, I was wondering if anyone is interested in specifics? I was debating getting a pair of zebra plecos.

Have you ever spawned any plecos before? If not, I suggest getting a pair of zebras may not be the best way to start. For one, a sexed pair will cost you a fair amount compared to unsexed or not mature. For two, can you positively sex them to insure you get one of each sex? And if they are a proven pair, figure a minimum cost of $500 and likely more.
 
I have been working with a few Hypancistrus now for about 8 years, they do require some knowledge, experience and above all patience.

I've spawned a variety of different fish, and I work with my LFS which is pretty knowledgable as well, this was just an idea, I know that the zebras are pretty hard to come by, but I figured I'd see if anyone on here is interested in anything specific before I make any plans.

Zebras are easy to come by if you have the money. How many do you want and what country are you in?
