I have loads of very large koi carp and they breed regularly every year around this time but none survive as either the eggs get eaten by the other koi or the young do! I've heard of breeding nets and things, can anyone give me some advice!!

I'm from the marine section by the way so hi cold waters!! :good:

You could always move the eggs to a quarentine tank.

It's my understanding the eggs are too delicate to move?

Any way you could put a floating net basket around them for a while until you know what to do with them.

Using a large breeding net or spawning mop are your best bet, if you're worried about survival move the mop to an indoor tank and airate them.
The other option is to have more plants such as Hornwort or Pondweed which should allow the babies to survive until you can see them feeding amoung the adults. It's all up to you as Koi spawns can vary, but are probably pretty heafty.

I cant find breeding nets anywhere for sale!! And plants!! Well we tried, the coy ate them!!! They're a nightmare, thanks for the advice!!
