Breeding Cages

I was thinking of breeding Pearl Gouramis and since I don't have another tank I was going to use breeding cages.

Are they any good, or has anyone used them? Any tips?

When they are clipped on the side, what happens when I want to do a water change and the level goes below the cage?

your need something a little larger, i would recomend a breeding tank if u rearly want to breed them. 18x12x12 is the smallest i would use with these fish.
