My angels have recently spawned on an Anubias leaf. I am not going to remove the eggs because I wish to test if the fish will provide parental care, as so often I have heard that they do not. The parents seem to be caring over the eggs at the moment, and I was wondering if this is a good sign. :D

To be honest it seems like the average thing the parents do. Don't get worried if most of the spawns are eaten, most Angel eat the first batch anyways. You may go with the Angels breeding their whole life, and they may not even raise a successful batch.

well in fact they do exhibit great parental care, however mostly after a few spawns. be sure to keep other fishes out of the area near the eggs, remove them if possible or they face recieving damage from protective parents.
