Hey all, I'm partway through stocking my 15 gallon which has been cycled etc.

I wanted to know what bottom dwelling fish exist that you can keep on their own, I've already got a BN plec so dont suggest any pleacs please. I mainly want to know if there are any loaches or corydoras up to 4 inches that i can keep on their own as i know i don't have space to keep any schooling ones like clown loach, panda corys etc.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

All loaches and corys need to be in groups. Instead of them maybe a small cichlid. What about a male Apistogramma agassizii.

Ah, forgot to mention i have A betta in there aswell, the cichlid will have that for dinner won't it?

so there are literally no loaches or corys I can have on their own? that sucks, thanks for the reply anyway :)

Oh a cichlid wouldnt be e good chose then.
Not that i know of. Why is it you dont want a shoal? Panda corys would work well but need to be in groups.

he says he doesnt think he has the room for a group of 6 fish.

yeah, that is what I mean, because more than half my tank floor is covered by rocks and ornaments etc. I just wanted a fisht apart from the pleco that would make use of that space.

Also by the time i've picked the other fish i want, there wouldn't be space for a shoal anyway or i'd be overstocking my tank.
