ok I went to take some photos with my camera but the batteries are flat so used my camera phone, not ideal I know but hopefully for now, someone might be able to tell if these are male or female.

will try and get some decent pics up later when my camera batteries are charged, but would appreciate any help if you can. :good:

Good camera phone!!

I would say ram 1, male

Rams 2 and 3 female.

(but i'm no expert, i'd suggest waiting for confirmation as rams are notoriously hard to sex)

I'm inclined to agree with walkers, I'd go for either all male or male, male, female (but as you said the last picture is a bit blurry).

so much for the LFS getting it right then. Bought them over 7 months back, must say though they are all well behaved, in my community tank, I do have another ram but he/she (probably he) was being camera shy. I will post picks of my Keyholes later, bet they are all one sex as well

Look Both Male to me, the extensions on the top fin and tail fins help me there. Thats how I managed to sex mine at my local MA.

both deffo males female have pink bellys

Female bolivian rams (Microgeophagus altispinosa) don't have pink bellies, it's female german rams (Microgeophagus ramirezi) that do. Mine bolivian female certainly doesn't and I know she's female as my pair have spawned several times.
