Bog Wood Water

random question, dunno where this should go!!

I'm soaking some bog wood ready to go in one of my tanks, noticed my cat drinking from the bucket the other day, I've now moved it where she can't get into it, the day after she was sick but i think she may also have got into the remnants of my chinese takeaway (she's a cheeky bugger!).

anyone know if the tanine or anything else from the bogwood water is likely to have made her poorly ?

it would be no different than her drinking from a stream in the woods. totally fine, dont worry about it. it was more likley the deep fried chilli beef and noodles that did it. lol

it was deep fried chilli beef and fried rice actually!!

yeah that's kind of what I thought but I worry over these things, over protective mother!
