Hi,

For the past week I have been trying to cure what I think might be scepticemia?
My Blue Gourami, about 10 days ago, started showing redness of his/her right fin. The redness also apprears on the mouth. I don't notice any other discoloration anywhere, although I find it hard to see on him/her.

I treated the fish in a treatment tank using Maracyn-Two and if anything the conditions seems to have gotten worse.

The fish is swimming fine doesn't look lethargic. He/she is eating although not as well as the other fish.

I first noticed the issue when I had him/her in my large tank with other gourami's and the other blue gourami started violently attacking this one.

Question

Anyone seen this condition before, anyone know what it is, what would be a possible treatment

Hope you can help

Thanks

Yes I suppose so. It doesn't seem to have spread to any place else. They do attack each other at the mouth I have noticed.
They have been together for about a year, why has this happend now? I wonder.

Thanks for your reply
