The electric blue, red flame etc gouramis are fish farm creations. Whether it's from gene splicing, hybridization or line breeding is a trade secret, but they are all basically lalia. The honey red is a different hybrid that hijacked the name of the gentle and hardy T. chuna. Most of these farm creations are subject to Iridovirus, sadly.
