Blue Acara Or Should I Say Not So Blue Acara

I put the blue acara in the tank yesterday afternoon but i have to admit its looking very drab it has some blue on its face but its body is just silver with a black dot in the middle. Now is it just stressed being in a new enviroment with new fish or will it stay this crap drab colour. its about 4".

I cant remember as we bought 2 one for my and one for the mother in law

After 24hrs in a tank I'd have thought any colour lost through fish being stresses would have returned (or started to return).

Blue acaras are being poorly breed atm bad colours and not nice looking looks like your one of the unlucky ones.

It all comes from interbreeding by breeders, same thing is happening with Rams, Firemouths, Convicts, Betta etc....
