Blackb Beard Algae And Overdosing Seachem Flourish Excel

found some black beard algae..

so after lots of research i just over dosed my tank with 120% seachem flourish excel. even then though recommended overdose is 500%, i did only 20% more as i dont want to take too much risk..




who knows about this..? give me some thing to chew... i will let you all know what happens in the coming days...

I scrubbed off what I could and removed any leaves with the algae on. Then double dosed excel every day and two/three weeks later completely gone. Double dose had no detrimental effects on any plants or livestock.

70ml for 430l and planing to dose 20ml every other day?

i have some of this growing on my heater and on my bog wood,is this a big problem? will it kill my fish? and is that method of treatment the only way to treat this algae

there is other ways.. but this is the easy one...
