We have had our black molly now for nearly a year. Its top fin is like a closed fan and he has little white spots on his back. He also has some white spots in his right eye. The new white mollys we have are swimming around the black molly and look as if they are trying to protect it. We have been putting white spot treatment in the tank for the past 2 days and have a further 1 day of treatment left. As we are not sure if the molly is pregnant or sick for sure, we have just put him in the breeding tank to keep him away from the other fish. Have we done wrong?
Also, you can normally tell if a fish is pregnant by a black spot on the side of the fish under the top fin. How can you tell that a black molly is pregnant?
