Black Lancer Cat Fish

I just read about the Black Lancer catfish. WOW !! it's all black with a horizontal white line. I love it. I set up a 10 gallon tank last week for a 2-3 inch black ghost knife I have on hold and am going to pick up tomorrow. YAY!! The tank is black sand, two 15 watt blue bulbs, plants ( top and bottom) and a tube for the little guy. now all I need is the little guy !!
eventually we ( my girlfriend and I) are gonna get a school of tiny white angles for the tank also. and when they all get too big, put them in our 45 gal. bow front or our 60 gal.
ANYWAY..........I want a black lancer catfish or two for the ghost knife tank. It would be the best looking tank around. does any body know anything about the catfish ?? I read they are pretty rare. I want one !!!

your tank is in no way shape or form suitable for any of the fish you have mentioned.
BGK will reach 24 inches
black lancers reach 10 inches
angelfish need a tank at least 18 inches of water depth due to their dorsal and ventral finage
and could be as big as a 7 inch disc (not including the fins)

OK, thanx for the info...........but, the BGK I'm getting tomorrow is only 2-3 inches, baby. The tiny angles I plan to add are only one to two inches ( including dorsal and ventral fins ) when they out grow the tank, I will be putting them in my 60 gallon...plenty of room. a ten gallon for now will suffice for the BGK.
My 46 gal. bow front is 18 inches tall by 36" wide and houses 1, 7" all black angle( including dorsal and ventral fins ),beautiful fish. Along with the others( 9 glass cats, 2 upside down cats, two ropes, and one peacock) a very beautiful and peaceful tank.
I would just like to find a lancer cat to watch grow along with the BGK.
