Black Ghost Knife Fish

my bgkf is about 5 inch and my tank is full of tertra and he does go near them

At 5" it's a baby still.... I'd listen to the long term experiences with these fish.

I don't know for sure how fast they grow but mine has grown about an inch in 3 months. I have read that someone had one at about 2 inches and in a year it was a foot I belive. So I don't know.

Black ghost knife fish grow to a large size and they are both nuctornal and predatory. I wouldn't say they are a fast growers, it take quit a long for them to reach maturity and adult size. Mine eats quit a lot it also the first to reach food, mine also eat other fish encluding Guppys and other small size fishes.
