I know its not ideal, but which would be better suited to a 6g white cloud minnows or zebra danio's?

I can't get a bigger tank and I really like both these fish.

White Clouds would do better in a small space than Danios.

white cloud minnows i think i may be wrong but some one will know more then me and tell you

Thank you for the help.

I know the size is not ideal but its all I can get at the moment :(

How many do you think I could have 6?

6 is a good number. In a tank of that size cycling becomes a lot more important. How have you prepared your tank for fish?

Yes I did a fishless cycle with pure ammonia. Here are the latest results.

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 30ppm

Is that fine?

Also I know white clouds can live in coldwater but do they do better in warmer waters?Like low 20C's?

Thank you

Those numbers look fine, but the test is that if you can add ammonia to raise it to 5ppm and it drops to 0 in 12 hours, then its cycled.

Not sure about the WCMM, sorry.

18-25C is ideal. The warmer the water, the less colorful they become.

So I should be looking at 20C? I might aswell take the heater out and make abit more space for them dont you think?

Ive heard they like current, is that right?Ive turned the filter flow up so there will be quite abit of current to keep them active :)

Sorry for all the questions and the help is much appreciated.

Yeah, I wouldn't bother with the heater and they do like quite a bit of current. No problem about the questions that's why most of us are here...to learn and pass on our love of fish. Let me know if you need anything else.
