Hi I have been setting up a new 60 ltr Jewel aquarium that came with a bioflow one internal filter. The filter is installed and pumping water ok but the small tube at the top of the outflo which is supposed to draw air is not doing so,the pump is actuall pushing a small amount of water back up the tube. Ive tried adjusting and blowing down the tube to clear it but nothing works.Wonder if anyone has a solution tothis problem ....Thanks

I've had several filters over the years with venturis. Some of them worked well, other's didn't. Is the outflow adjustable? I found that when the water flow was turned down the venturi didn't work as well as when the water flow was on maximum.

Just to check - the top of the little tube is well clear of the water? With one filter I had the tube was too soft and kept flopping over into the water.

Hi thanks ,yes tube is well clear tried it with and without the adjuster on the top ..still no joy.
The flow rate doesnt seem to be adjustable but the air intake is .
