hi
not sure if Bio film is correct term. it’s the cloudy film on the glass. - yes i need to do a cleaning. awhile back when i rehomed my guppies 5 fry were still in tank afterwards. so being a softy, i kept the stupid guppies. i put them in my rainbow darter tank. i feed the darters frozen food. while the cube dissolves, the guppies are eating it. they get their own flakes. ughh! can the film come from over feeding guppies? i think i will put the guppies in my big fantail goldfish tank. tough love stupid guppies. ( there are plants for them to hide)
sound cruel?

Not entirely sure what your question is. But yes if you overfeed anything in your aquarium it can cause excessive growth of a number of different things you may or may not want to live in your tank. Likely you are getting an initial growth of algae on the tank. Without a better description or picture it is difficult to say more. I am not very familiar with any of your fish so I won't comment on that.
