Bio Damage - Cloudy Water

just an update on this thread. I used Interpet Fungus and Finrot treatment again this week and the same thing happened. Slight ammonia reading after 1 day. Slight Nitrite reading within 48hours. Cloudy water on day 3. Its definitely the treatment that causes a mini cycle. beware !

I'm assuming you've checked the use by date and its not expired. Also a lot of meds expire quicker after they've been exposed to the air so if you used the same bottle this time that you did 5 months ago then is that work thinking about?

Previous course was the second half of a used bottle. This time round it was a new bottle. So don't think its gone off.
 
Sell by date has three years left.
 
Interestingly, the box states that it is harmless to filters. I may contact Interpet about this, as its clearly not.
 
The active chemical btw is phenoxyethanol if anyone is interested. It is clear when it enters the water.

I contacted Interpet and told them my experience. 6 days later no reply or acknowledgement. Great customer service
