When i had my 2ft tank the fish seemed happy enough swimming around doing their thing . The young guppies stayed in their quaters and didnt stray.
They recently moved home into a 4ft tank and what a difference. All the young now go out and explore and everyone seems alot happier.
If you get a chance at a bigger tank go for it. Your fish will appreciate it.

just make sure the tank isnt to big...

i bought one recently that would have colapsed through the floor had i filled it...

Lol try and get a stand with it and make sure your on the ground floor.

i calculated it at almost a ton

not good....

i now have one half the size awaiting me getting down to the LFS and getting stuff to start it cycling

3 foot long 3 foot high and 2 foot deep

18 cubic feet of water = 1116 pounds,

aswell as the weight of the tank, gravel lid ect...

I have 2 tanks one is 61/2 feet by 20inch by 20inch and the other is 4ft long by 20inch by 24 inch

bigger is definately better!

I upgraded from a 20 or 29ukgal (I have forgotten the exact capacity) to a 65ukgal and it is definitely better. The Mollies have gone mad and I have at least 30 fry of different sizes. :) If my Common Pleco carries on growing I will have to get a 100ukgal.
