Bettas With 2 Gbr

hi all i have a community tank going and was looking in to getting a male betta will it live with them as the blue rams live next to the bottom.

2 blue rams
11 neon tetras
2 peppered corycats

i keep females with a ram and they have the odd spat at food time so i wouldn't advize a male especially with long fins and neons in there
