How long will it take for my betta's tail to heal?

Don't think I could really give you a time, but water changes daily or every other day will help. You're going to want to keep the water clean to prevent nasties getting in there. If he's in a tank with other fish, you might want to consider putting him in a seperate tank by himself. Do you have any ideas what the cause of it might have been? Any plastic plants or sharp edged ornaments?

He is in his own 2.5 with a silk plant. I think he bit it himself.
