Guppies and platies are easy to tell apart.
Look at the anal fin, that's the one on the underside just in front to the tail. In a female, it is shaped like a fan, like with other types of fish. With a male, it is rod shaped and is called a gonopodium. Look at images on-line to see the difference, it's always best to know before going fish shopping as many shop workers haven't a clue.
Male guppies also tend to be more colourful than females, though male and female platies are equally colourful.

Only one bristlenose, provided the tank is at least 60 cm long. A 60 litre tank is not big enough for more than one bristlenose. But remember that plecs do poop a lot and many people can't cope with it.
Can I ask why you want a bristlenose - because you like the fish or because you want it to eat algae? If it's because you like it, fine. But if you want it to eat algae, there are better choices for a 60 litre tank.

Provided you make you do large (75%) weekly water changes, 6 male guppies, 6 male platies and 1 bristlenose is do-able, but is pushing the tank to the limit.

On a side note I’ve been offered some fish but I don’t know what breed they are can someone help me Identify them !! Thanks
