My 2 year old betta is sick and I dont know what to do for him.

He is not eatting or going to the bathroom. He is swiming kinda on his side. All day he just sits sideways on the bottom or at the top of his water. He always has clean water and there is no fungus or anything growing on him. He has been this way for a few weeks now with no improvment. Sometimes his fins are so white and pale, when they should be bright red.

Any idea whats wrong with him?

Try feeding him a cooked mushed up half of pea the fast him for a couple of days. Its sounds like he may have swim bladder and if this doesn't work try adding a little salt to his water. Can you get us any pics as this would help to determine his problem

Bless at 'going to the bathroom'
Does he have a fat tummy?

I tried the fasting and pea thing, he would'nt touch the pea. His belly is'nt big, he's real thin. He stopped eatting the pelletes and will only eat the occasional flake. I always put a pinch of salt in his water, after a water change. Should I put more salt in?

Here is some pictures I just took of him. (His bowl is empty because I am just about to change his water)
