Betta Save Diy Tank Divider?

I have to get rid of my 5 gal tank (As I have a 2 tank limit and I;m getting a 20 gal)
So I was planning on making a divider for my 30 gal to give my Betta Casper his own 5ish gal piece of tank to call home. (I'm hoping for a Gourami so I hear there's no possibility of them getting along)
So I'm wondering if anyone has any website or recipe to make a DIY tank divider? I don't care if it's see through or not, just so long as they can't get at each other.
Any options would be great, thanks

What dimensions is the tank? I have 2 Large Penn Plax dividers not used so still in packs that I don't need anymore

The 30 gal is 12W and 18H (I assume the 36L doesn't matter as much )

pretty sure thats what size this is *if not bigger* as it says 29-55 Gal!
