Betta & Lobster

I noticed that my friend keeps his betta with a lobster, just wanted to know if it is safe to keep the two together

Thanks for confirming my doubts, btw what does a lobster eat, cuz I'm pretty sure I heard my friend say that the lobster eats algae the person selling it said so, which means that he hasn't fed the lobster anything for a month now... Is that even possible?
