Betta Fish Mouth Separation & Growth???

Hey everyone,
So my Betta fish suddenly has this weird separation from its mouth to the rest of its head, and some kind of growth. Does anyone know what this is? My tank is cycled and the water is testing completely normal. Any help would be appreciated!

Before pictures? When did you first notice it? Photo of the tank? Anywhere he could have stucked his head into? Water parameters? Changes in his behaviour?
