I have a bag of copepods which come in 100ml of water. I was once told when I had a bag of brine shrimps to drain the water first as their could be a risk of disease from the water or something? I've always drained live food feeds with the net first and then put them in... These copepods however are too small for that.. Can I just get some sort of nod of approval that the bag of water will be fine to just pour into my aquarium? Thanks

brineshrimp live in saltwater and will not transmit diseases into freshwater tanks.

if the copepods are saltwater, they will not transmit diseases into the tank, and the small amount of salt water will not harm the fish. just pour them into the tank or put them in a bowl and scoop them in.
