Im currently in the middle on cycling my first tank. I have already gone out and purchased several plants and scattered them around the tank in an attempt to create a wall of green at the rear and sides leaving the middle/front 2/3 of the tank for the fish to swim and a few rocks/drift wood.

The plants I have are:
Wisteria
Stelata
Water Sprite
Val
Hygrophila
Ambulia

Which of these will do better along side the heater?
I have the water spray coming out in the centre top of the tank.. Which of these plants will be happy/not happy near the water spray?

Here is a couple of picks of my tank.. Any suggestions would be great..

With your spraybar in the middle of the tank and inlet on the right, you're leaving a big 'dead' area on the left half of the tank. You wont get much water movement there and amongst other things, less nutrients near those plants. Consider moving the spraybar to the left side of the tank

I had initially planned on having the spray bar at the far left as you suggested but the hose isnt long enough.

I found after leaving the spray bar in the middle is seems to mix the water pretty well as it creates to wirlpools to either side of the spray bar... When Ive added plants ..etc I can see the debris moving all over the tank..

So you think Im better off getting some longer hose and putting up the far left?
