Best Moss For A Moss Wall?

Going to have a attempt at a moss wall, what's the best moss (looking/spreading) for a wall?

i personally like to see weeping moss, on moss walls. You can use any moss though, just be aware you need quite a bit though.

I've toyed with the idea of this a few times but the thought of the moss not doing well at the bottom of the wall has always put me off. If it was me I'd probably use Christmas Moss as I know it grows like mad in my tanks.

Is it best to leave my moss wall lay on the bottom in the centre of my tank for a while for it to start growing before putting it on the glass?

No need mate. If anything flow would be less on the bottom and so you'd probably get better growth on the glass.

Ok thanks ! Also , the place I'm putting it has a airpump under it , will this effect the growth?
