Best Food For Cichlids

Hi people what is the best food and how much per fish to feed your cichlids on..?

If they are mbuna then a spirulina based flake or better still something like the Hikari african pellets as a staple and then something like Mysis or Brineshrimp as an occassional treat

I used to feed mine goldfish flake, spirulina sticks, New Era cichlid pellets and frozen brineshrimp/krill.

I use spirulina sticks for my Mbuna.

all african cichlids love and i mean love hippo poop that is if u can get any lol but they also love blood worm in occasional doses
