Once my tank is cycled, i want to add some real plants.

I'm looking for ones that won't die easily, and easy to grow and maintain.

Thanks folks :)

I'm not sure about the lighting situation but my tank is 65l, and i have 2 light tubes that say 11w.

I'm no plant expert and don't use any fertilisers, CO2 or special lighting and all these plants grow well for me; Java fern, Java moss, Anubias, Indian fern, vallisneria and Cryptocorynes.

x mass moss would be the best do not buy java moss what ever you do because you wont be able two control it x mas moss would be nice in your tank ti grows very slow java moss grows 6xs times faster than x mass moss ( ive been told )

Things like cabomba, vallis, amazon swords and many species of cryptocorynes are pretty easy substrate plants to grow. If you have wood or rocks in your tank, then you could attach some java moss or an anubias plant onto it and their roots will grab onto the wood or stone and grow. Some pics:

Don't forget Elodea/Egeria densa and Moss balls.

Good luck with the choosing!

HAHA edited because i realised that other people had said most of my list!!!

Thats great thankyou.

I love balls, moss ones that is lol

Vallis looks great for the back wall, and i love Anubias.

Don't think i'd go down the Java Moss route, bit too green for me!
