Picked up my last 10 lbs of LR today along with a beautiful specimen of Silver Branch, Pumping Xenia.

I took my time acclimating to my tank, about - 1 1/2 hrs. I figured I'd take my time ..I only get one shot at it and I didn't want to shock the heck out of it.

Good for me, since I stopped dosing my tank other than Iodine.... which is a requirement of this coral, the pick is an easy to maintain yet oooh, sooo beautiful.

Ok... your probably checking my stats to see what my last 10 lbs brings me up to....60lbs in a 55. I like to have open swimming room for my fish.

Congrats  Where do you get your LR? I never seem to fine nice pieces anywhere...Mostly drab pieces with nothing on them....I must not be looking hard enough :*)

Pets Inc. just brought out their Kolinni out from the back as well as some Figi and I also noticed Tongan Slabs there today too and of course Tongan Branch. Check out the Tongan slabs.... I've got a 15lb slab when I started cycling and it's got good growth. The best looking one in my tank.

Fish Guy lets me look at all of them..... they're sooo nice there.

I picked up 10lbs of Kolini today, now I've got all three, I like variety.

Check out your colt thread, I got one too :)

Be very, very careful dosing iodine. Test before dosing. And after. If you do water changes more than three times a year, and are using Instant Ocean, I'd be shocked if you needed to add Iodine.

My xenia propogates like mad and I don't dose iodine.
