Bored into leaving
Right, after buying what I thought were Hypogymnogobius xanthozona it turns out that the chances are most of them are Brachygobius doriae. Therefore, in an attempt to do the responsible thing, I'm looking into setting up a brackish tank.
I will probably look at getting something in the 30 to 40 gallon region (depends what second hand tanks are at a nearby shop). However, the chances are that this tank will have a fair size sump system (I'm not happy with the acces my current sumps give me in my main FW community and will probably order some smaller new tanks for it.) As a result the total sump volume would be another 28 gallons.
Essentially, what fish would go with my BBGs in this tank (I have 12 at the moment).
Obviously larger fish and puffers are out, and sadly my knowledge of brackish fish is not that great. Anyone have any good ideas on this?
Oh, final ask. BBGs like the SG around 1.005, non?
