Bamboo

Hello all,

I have just bought some live bamboo from Homebase with a view to putting in my tank. I have some aquatic fern and couple of moss balls already. And the tank has Danios and a Betta in it plus Cherry Shrimps.

Is this a good idea?

i hope you know that dwarf bamboo is a bog plant and will not survive long submerged

Sorry I should have been clearer, it's Double Luck Bamboo.

what is double luck bamboo and i dont think there is any kind of fully aquatic bamboo plant

Google it. It sits in water to grow. Have seen them in Betta tanks on youtube.

no, it's not a good idea to put it in your tank. It will rot, causing ammonia spikes.
