I know this is probably a bit OTT, but in 1.5 weeks I'm getting my 900l tank, and I have two seperate ballasts (each with 2 outputs, so x4 bulbs in total)

I have two plantglo's which I intend to put at the back of the tank and two lifeglo's for the front

Would the tank appreciate being blasted with light for 12 hours, then dark for 12 hours, or would it appreciate 4 hours of moderate light, 4 hours being blasted, 4 hours moderate, then dark for the night? (by offsetting the timers by 4 hours)

Or do I really not have to worry about it, which is more likely the case!

Kind Regards
Lee

I wouldnt run your lights for longer than 8 hours in all honesty, im not sure blasting the plants with 4 tubes will do anything but cause algae, depends what plants you're keeping...

The higher the light the higher the demand for fertilisation and co2
