Good idea. It's always best to give them to someone that will take good care of them, than to put them in a tank where they won't be comfortable.

Yea I love his colors. Best part is he was only $5. Either Petco rips people off or my lfs has very cheap bettas or both

Your lfs must have good prices. I do not think petco rips people off more than anywhere else. Petco is the cheapest in my area, lfs prices are much more
