Bactinettes

Hi all

Just a quickie, has anybody tried Bactinettes yet ??? If so are they any better than other 'bacteria in a bottle' stuff ? (they seem to be sold out of the fridge, so just wondered)

Yeah, they're brilliant providing they're in date, they work really well, make sure they're the freshwater ones though.

They still exist? I thought there were reports of their demise? Bactinettes were one of only two of those sorts of things we would sometimes recommend trying: the story was that a fairly small subset of consumers in certain UK locations would luck into getting in-date packages where the entire wholesale/retail chain had "worked properly" and kept the package sufficiently cold throughout the entire set of transportation links.

For most other others who were not in the lucky spots, the package was already turned into just the usual bit of organic mud.

water drop i think he means could be wrong the ones ac sell they sell little pots out of the fridge

i went into my local maidenhead and asked then finaly got them to sell me some media from there fw sump they charged 2 pounds went in next week and they had a dedicated tank with a label and they now sell it
