This past weekend has been two hectic days for me at the Vivarium 2025. Western Europe's largest vivaristic event, visited by people from all over the world. Despite of the fact that it was hectic, it was also one of my more pleasant annual activities where I put my energy in. I've done great business these two days. Can't say otherwise, tbh. Met up again with lots of friend aquarists and breeders nationally and internationally. I deliberately didn't participate the national guppy show this time. This way I could focus mainly on my own stand. Brought in more fish than usual. Kept a lot of fish in my styrofoam boxes. This way I could add more to the table when needed. I got completely sold out at the end of day#2.
Two days before the doors to the public has opened, I had two days of catching fish. I also had a good number of fish reservations. Most were meant for foreign visitors who were scared of missing out on those fish. Fyi, in a lot of countries, a serious number of rare livebearers are hard to get their hands on. This way, these people were able to become owners of these fish. This Monday was meant to have a day of relaxation. For all the preparations and being at the event has cost me a lot of energy. And because I do have severe health issues, it's important to control my activities as much as possible. Even at this point, I do feel exhausted. But all the energy I've put in this activity has been all worth it. And I gladly pay the toll for it... I'll go all the way for something I've got a passion about...
