Just wanted to get peoples opinions on if it is worth getting an auto top up for a 15g nano (with 10g fuge). Currently I top up on Tuesday and Thursday (water change done on sat or sun) and I dont see much (if any) change in SG. I was wondering if an auto top up would be worth getting though.
Plus points would be that it is one less thing to worry about and will in theory keep the SG perfectly stable at one level.
Minus points would be that if it fails and decideds to pump a tank of RO water in then its going to do a lot of damage.
I'm thinking if I do get one I can put it on a timer to only switch on for 5 minutes a day (would have to see exactly how much water it pumps and adjust the time) so if it does fail it only has a couple of minutes so shouldnt do as much damage.
