I am new to keeping Killi's, so I have got a pair of Australe's in a 90 litre tank which is heavily planted. I have also placed a spawning mop in there too. My question is will any eggs hatch naturally or do they have to be taken out by hand and dried? The reason why I ask is I obviously cant physically check for any eggs on the plants, so I am hoping that they will naturally hatch and grow on? and any eggs layed in the spawning mop I can take out by hand

Australe eggs do not need to be dried. With a well planted tank you can expect some of the eggs to hatch. The use of a spawning mop is for the purpose of collecting eggs.

Great news. I noticed some courting behaviour yesterday, so hopefully I will have some success with these. Thanks for the advice
