Aussie Clowns

Hey all

Went to my lfs today and noticed a pair of percula clowns for £70, when i asked about them i was told they were australian clowns, whats the difference to between normal and australian?

They only thing i could see was it had slightly broader black bands.

And this is where if only the lfs had given a latin name you could have been sure what they were They will either be, A. frenatus (commonly called Tomato clowns, they will have a black line going round the white bar) or A. rubrocinctus (no black line) both fish come from Australia.

Hey seffie, they were definatley either percula or ocellaris, thats why i was stumped at the price.

probably just large wild percs if they have more black on them.
